Each route has a textual version, that describes, step by step, the most characteristic places of the historical center, and an interactive version, that allows to visit, through a map , these places in a virtual way.
In this section there are three routes (red , yellow and green ) that run in the alleys of the historical center.
This route visits the most important churches of the city, as the Cathedral, St.Sylvester, St.Peter to the Charity and St.Mary Major.
Placed in the heart of the medieval city, there is the Gothic House, a building of the 1200s. Don't lose the Sanctuary of Hercules, a monumental construction of the II century B.C.
The walking passes through the old medieval centre, overlooked by the turret-houses, until to arrive to the impressive Rocca Pia and near Anphitheatre of Bleso.
Look for the marble or travertin tiles, representing the monogram of S.Bernardino, on the walls of some aristocratic palaces.
This route visits the east zone of the old medieval centre, going down to Via degli Stabilimenti.
Don't lose the characteristic Temples of Acropoli, placed on a rock from where you can have a beatiful skyview to Villa
Gregoriana.
